It’s always a good idea to keep your employment law knowledge up to date. Even if you don’t use it on a day-to-day basis, it helps, in any business role, to have an awareness of the latest legislation and case-law.
On 17 March, West London CIPD is running an all-day Employment Law seminar with Steve Gibbons and Darren Newman. If you haven’t been to one of their gigs before, you really should. They present complex cases and legal arguments in an entertaining way. They can even hold people’s attention while discussing TUPE straight after lunch!
This is one of the few events that West London CIPD charges for but at a mere £150 for a day-long seminar, including a good lunch, it’s cheap at the price. If you want to go to this event please book here.
As Darren said, “Employment law is too important to be left to employment lawyers.” The more you know about it, the less likely you are to need a lawyer at all.
