I’m up in Scotland which, in a rare fluke of nature, seems to be the warmest place in the UK at the moment. I’m enjoying watching the chaos in London on the news.

Yes but the Glasgow area is still nowhere near as bad as eastern England. Only a light sprikkling of snow.
