Conference embarrassment 17 October, 2007

We don’t do embarrassing-bosses-at-conferences anywhere near as well as they do them in the USA.
This looks rather endearing when compared to real toe-curling stuff like this:
…..or this.
If anyone else knows of any company-song, away-day humiliation, or bosses-who-should-know-better videos, point me to them. I think I might start a collection.
Once upon a time I worked for a company that owned skilled nursing facilities. The executive team dressed up like ACDC and sang “Big Balls” during a weekend retreat. I laughed so hard I almost wet myself.
The Steve Ballmer “monkey dance” video:

Graeme - that is truly horrible!
Wench - was that before video-phones and You Tube? If they did that now, it would be all over the web within hours.
A big law firm I used to work for loooved to demonstrate what a fun bunch we all were. One time they held a karaoke contest at the corporate Christmas party - wooo-eee, fun. Anyway, two of the managing partners got on stage and “sang”
“Sex Bomb” by Tom Jones - including gyrating hips and humping of the mic stand. I was so glad that I was tipsy-bordering-on-drunk at that point - that made it even more hilarious.
The next day HR sent an E-Mail to the entire office, asking everybody to delete any vids/pics of this performance - it could ruin the reputation of the firm and the partners. As far as I know it hasn’t leaked onto You Tube, but if I find a video I’ll let you know.
This is so topical! I stole it for my blog because today’s big news is that BOA’s profits have fallen. I wonder if this video is to blame?
xxxooo
